Our Classes
Pre Beginner(Age 4-5-6)
Pre Beginner Class is a joyful and nurturing introduction to the world of gymnastics. Specially designed for children aged 4 to 6. Led by an experienced coach, this class focuses on developing basic motor skills, balance, and coordination through fun and engaging activities.
Each week we learn about 1 of the 4 gymnastics events. The last 10 minutes of class we play a game.
Vault: Safety Landing,Straight Jump, Handstand Fall Flat
Bar: Chin Up, Pull Over, Casts, Skin The Cat
Beam: Mount, Leg Lifts, Arabesque, Pivot Turns, Jumps
Floor: Tripod, Cartwheel, Handstand, Front/Back Rolls. Bridge.
We incorporate the use of the Tumble Trampoline, for body awareness, skills and soft landings.
Beginner 1 (Age 6-12)
Beginner 1 Class is the perfect place for kids to explore the world of gymnastics in a fun and supportive environment. Designed for children who have been in a previous class before and want to build on their skills.
Each week we practice skills on 1 of the 4 gymnastics events.
Vault: Safety Landing , Straight Jump, Handstand Fall Flat, Straight Leg Jump to Stack Mat.
Bar: Chin Up, Pullover, Leg Cuts, Casts, L-Hang, Tuck Hang, Backhip Circle
Beam: Mount, Releve, Passe, Leg Lifts, Arabesque, Pivot Turns, Straight Jump, T-Levers, Tuck Jump Dismount
Floor: Headstand, Cartwheel, Handstand, Bridge, Assisted Kickovers, RoundOff, 3 -Way Splits.
We encorporate the use of the Tumble Trampoline for body awareness, skills and soft landings.
Beginner 2 (Age 7-12)
This class is for kids who have been in previous classes and would like the challange of advancing her skills.
Kids should be able to do backhip circles on bar, bridge back on the floor, T-Lever on the beam and running vaults.
Each week we practice skills on 1 of the 4 gymnastics events. With the last 10 minutes of class spent on a game.
Vault: Safety Landing, Straight Jump, Handstand Fall Flat, Straight Leg Jump to the Vault Table, Run Handstand Fall Flat
Bar: Glide , Pullover, Leg Cuts, Casts, Mill Circle, 2 Back Hip Circles
Beam: Mount, Releve, Arabesque, Passe Holds, Pivot Turns, Straight Jumps, 1/2 Handstand, Cartwheel Dismount
Floor: Headstand, Cartwheel, Handstand, Back Pike Roll , BackWalkOver, RoundOff, 3 way Splits.
We incorporate the use of the Tumble Trampoline for body awareness, skills, and soft landing.
Intermediate (Age 7+)
This class will help if your child is wanting to continue the process of skill advancement.
Vault: Safety Landing, Straight Leg Jump to Table, Run Handstand Fall Flat with repulstionl.
Bar: Glide, Pull Over, Shoot Thru, 2 Back Hip Circle, Mill Circle, Front Hip Circle, Dismount
Beam: Mount, Arabesque, Tuck Jump, Heal Snap Turn, Handstand, Cartwheel 1/4 Turn Dismount.
Floor: Handstand Roll, Front Limber, Backwalkover, Back Pike, Chasse Leap.
After the mastering of the skills offered in this class , your child would be abe to enroll in Level 2 Competitive Team. If Team is not for you , than you could move on to Advanced Class.
Advanced (Age 7+)
This class is for the gymnasts who wants to learn advanced floor tumbling. We will the majority of our class on floor tumbling.
Skill we will work on:
Rolls, Handstands, Back /Front Handsprings, Front / Back Walkovers ,Ariels
Competitive Team
(Invite Only)
The Competitive Team Class at XtraOrdinary Gymnastics is designed for gymnasts who are ready to take their skills to the next level and potentially compete in gymnastics competitions. We focus on refining your technique, building mental toughness, and maximizing your competitive potential in a highly supportive training environment. This class focuses on advanced training, precision, and routine development tailored to the requirements of Amerikids Gymnastics.
Amerikids Gymnastics offers 8-10 competitions thru the season. (January-April). All the competitions are in our great State Of Nebraska. XtraORDinary Gymnastics hosts a home meet in Ord every year. Team families are required to help host.
